FAQ
How cold weather conditions can Reimatec™ overalls take?
In cold conditions the layered clothing system has been proved to be ideal: under layer, mid-layer and outer layer. Under layers and mid-layers can be added or removed according to the weather conditions and activity levels. Reimatec™ overalls are thermal resistant, breathable, protect against wind and prevent the moisture penetration from the environment into the inner layers.
The overall has to be of the right size, so it won’t compress the inner layers. The warmth of the clothing is dependent on the still air in between the skin and the clothing.
Can I use finishing sprays for improving the water repellence?
Yes, you can. Reimatec™ fabrics are treated with a dirt and water repellent finishing, which prevents water sticking to the fabric and absorb into it. This treatment is only on surface of the fabric and will wear off in washings. You can refresh the water repellence with sprays and finishing products that are sold e.g. in sports shops. When buying the product, make sure it doesn’t contain silicone and is suitable for breathable fabrics.
Can I use stain remover to the Reimatec™ fabrics?
You can use stain remover detergents to Reimatec™ fabrics. It’s anyhow best to apply these detergents to the stain only, as some of the detergents can be very strong and may fade the colours. Acetone or nail polish removers are not suitable.
